Growing with care – Building care relationships to plan for food security
The project Growing with Care uses a metadesign toolkit consisting of three workshops, to help form food communities with embedded care relationships towards soil and plants when growing food. The project addresses that we are living in an interconnected world where our actions have a larger impact on the natural world around us. When the right microbes exist in soil, it creates living and healthy soil that can become a carbon sequencing agent.
By changing the way we interact with the soil in our local food systems, we can help tackle issues of climate change and food security through care. The toolkit acts as a guide into new ways of behaving and interacting with our natural food systems as communities.
