We, the second year design students of the Visual Communication + Change program at Linnaeus University welcome you to our exhibition about the urban and rural Småland.
The projects in the exhibition investigate the local region from the dual perspective where the division between the countryside and the city are urgent topics in current politics. All projects are created in collaboration with society and deal with various subjects such food, folktales, extinct animals and many more.
We ask what different journeys can the region make into the future regarding more sustainable modes that connect the urban with the rural parts? What are the controversies and challenges within these topics?
